Universal American School Day Celebrates *** “Amazing” *** achievement of UAS IB Students on International Baccalaureate Results Day 2023

Students from Universal American School in Dubai Festival City are celebrating  formidable achievements in this 2023 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme results. 24 students were registered for the IB Diploma this year, collectively achieving an inspirational pass rate of 96% – and with results that continue to outperform world averages.

Top scoring Universal American School students broken through the 40 Points threshold – all the more impressive in a year in which the IB has returned to the harsh marking and grade boundaries of the Pre-Covid years.

Kevin Loft, Director, Universal American School Dubai told SchoolsCompared:

Stand-out achievements

• International Baccalaureate average point score of 34 points.
• 39% of students achieved 35+ points
• Three students achieved a hugely creditable 39 points.
• 42% of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme cohort gained a bilingual IB Diploma with Arabic A Language and Literature with English A Language and Literature. The United American School’s Arabic A program continues to be ranked as one of the very strongest in Dubai.
