Al Bateen Academy – the Back Story

Established in 2011, Bateen World Academy is a co-educational day school providing learning opportunities that appropriately challenge every child, allowing them to learn in a safe and caring environment. The curriculum is based on an adapted English National Curriculum and progresses through the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP) in primary school, through I/GCSE in middle school, and culminates with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program in senior school.

The school’s holistic approach is what enables students to thrive, says Principal Neal Dilk:

“Bateen World Academy is truly a remarkable school, where excellence thrives, and dreams take flight.  What sets us apart and makes us special is our unwavering commitment to whole child education, nurturing not just academic brilliance, but also the values that shape compassionate individuals and responsible global citizens.

Neal Dilk, Principal, Bateen World Academy

“As we celebrate the achievements of our extraordinary students and dedicated teachers this year, we witness the power of a holistic approach to education.  Our students have not only excelled academically, but have also demonstrated remarkable growth in their personal and social development through the CAS program.  They have embraced the values of compassion and integrity, making a positive impact on the broader community.

“Together, we create a vibrant learning community, where every individual is valued, supported, and encouraged to unleash their full potential.  Bateen World Academy is more than a place of academic excellence; it is a sanctuary of growth, where students and teachers flourish, and dreams become reality.”
