Arcadia School Dubai has announced the results for the first ever IGCSE entries for the Secondary school. With 100% of the students achieving grades 9-7, these results show a brilliant inaugural performance by Arcadia students – all of whom took their exams early, at the end of Year 10.

Mathematics students did incredibly well with 80% of those taking the examination achieving a grade 8 or better. Meanwhile, for IGCSE languages there was a clean sweep of grade 9s for every single entry.

While it was a small early cohort of just 14 pupils, Arcadia school says it is very proud of these students for their outstanding academic performance but what is more remarkable is that all of these students took the examinations early, after just a single year of study.

The Executive Principal of Arcadia School, Mr Giles Pruett, was ecstatic with the results commenting:

“We are absolutely delighted with the outcomes of our first ever IGCSE results. This outstanding performance not only demonstrates an incredible level of commitment from the students to complete their courses in just one year, but also highlights the high quality teaching they have received from our excellent team of educators.”

Arcadia Dubai GCSE highlights:

  • Arcadia School students achieved 93% Grade 9-8 across all subjects taken
  • 100% of students taking an IGCSE Language achieved a grade 9
  • IGCSE Mathematics students achieved 80% grade 9-8 (A*)
