GEMS Education’s flagship British curriculum school, Jumeirah College, has announced beyond-outstanding results for GCSE Results Day 2023. Today, as the schools announces its GCSE results, 85% Jumeirah College students perform in the top 10% in the world for their qualifications.
Nicholas Brain, Principal/CEO, Jumeirah College, told SchoolsCompared.com,
“We are thrilled to announce the exceptional success of our students in this year’s GCSE results.
“Their dedication, resilience, and the unwavering support of our staff have culminated in outstanding results once again.
“We are immensely proud of each student’s achievements, a testament to their hard work and the quality of education provided at Jumeirah College. These results not only reflect academic excellence but also the development of critical skills and a passion for lifelong learning.
“Congratulations to our students and the entire Jumeirah College community.”
Robert Kesterton, Vice Principal, Jumeriah College, continued:
“We are hugely proud of our Year 11 cohort and their amazing results. Considering the context of falling results across the UK at GCSE, we are pleased to have bucked that trend.
“Our results are significantly higher than our already world-leading pre-pandemic levels.
“We feel immense pride that our students’ hard work has been recognised, and especially important to us is that the progress from their starting point is also demonstrated by our ALPS grade of 1: meaning that our students’ performance is in the top percentile in the world.
This signifies that there is no school in the world where their chances of attaining those grades would have been higher.
It is also commendable that 85% of our students have performed in the top 10% in the world for their qualifications.”
