The British School Al Khubairat I/GCSE Results Outperform 2019 Benchmark in Year of Extraordinary Success for Outstanding BSAK Students

The British School Al Khubairat, BSAK, is celebrating an outstanding set of GCSE results with its students today – and has outperformed the 2019 pre-Pandemic benchmark when I/GCSE examinations were last marked without grade inflationary adjustment.

Of 134 students and 1243 entries:

• 18% of grades were awarded at Grade 9, the highest grade possible
• 38% of grades were awarded at Grade 9-8, equivalent to an A*.
• 57% of grades were awarded at Grade 9-7, equivalent to A*or A
• 90% of grades were awarded at Grade 9-5 , equivalent to A*-B.

49 BSAK students, 37% of the BSAK GCSE Class of 2023, achieved at least 8 GCSE grades between 9-7, equivalent to A* – A.
