In terms of reputation, the American Community School, with its membership of the popular US conferences (EAC and MESAC), stands ahead of the other Abu Dhabi-based schools. However, it is clear from the range of competitive sports on offer, that there is a growing commitment; a development we would very much encourage.
Before leaving our recommendations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, we would like to make special mention of two other schools located in the Northern Emirates. Sharjah English School (SES) – with its small student numbers and two form entry, and RAK Academy, are hardly in a position to compete on the scale that our top schools are used to. However, not only do they compete regularly within the DASSA league, but in Under-15 cricket, SES is among the top 4 teams.
