Top Sport Schools in Abu Dhabi
Our rating of the top schools in Abu Dhabi is based on the range of competitive sports on offer, the involvement of the schools in competitive leagues or competitions and their success in those competitions. We have tried to establish not only what sports are played, but how focused on sports these schools are.
We found it more of a challenge to identify the Top Sports Schools in Abu Dhabi due to the limited information available on the ADISSA and DASSA websites and on the schools’ own websites. Where full details were not available, we have contacted the schools directly.
Abu Dhabi based schools are also more constrained in their ability to travel to other schools due to the restrictions placed on them by ADEC. We applaud the below schools who continue to encourage and organise for their students to enjoy these competitions.

As is probably reasonable to expect, given their general top 1-3 positions in the ADISSA and DASSA leagues (notably in cricket, netball, football and rugby), our top school in Abu Dhabi is BSAK – the British School of Al Khubairat.
However, it is clear that BISAD – the British International School – Brighton College and Al Yasmina are keen to compete also. Cranleigh, as a relatively new school, is clearly already in the fight for top honours and as the school reaches maturity with the addition of their Sixth Form, we expect to see some tough competition from them.
