New Schools Coming to Dubai – Dubai British Schools 3 & 4. Two new DBS schools, “DBS Mira” and “DBS Jumeira”, coming to Dubai in 2024 and 2025 to Join Taaleem’s oversubscribed existing Jumeirah Park and Emirates Hills Schools

In a rush of new school announcements coming to Dubai, Taaleem has announced two new “Dubai British School” branded schools to join its existing schools DBS Emirates Hills and DBS Jumeirah Park.

The first new school to open will be Dubai British School Jumeira in August 2024. The school will be located Al Safa adjacent to Horizon English School and directly fronting the Dubai Canal on one of the most long sought after pieces of real estate in Dubai. It will be followed later by Dubai British School Mira which will open in August 2025.

Both schools will  be circa 1600 capacity British curriculum all-through schools on full opening, but will initially open to Year 6 to phase launch gradually to IGCSE and gold standard A level at Sixth Form.

Dubai British School Jumeira will be lead by Founding Principal Lee Hole who returns to Dubai from an overseas posting in Cambodia. Mr Hole is well known in the emirates from his secondary leadership of GEMS International School Al Khail between 2016 and 2021. KHDA Fees will range between AED 50,500 to AED 75,700 in British Sixth Form on all-through opening. Discounted fees are being offered to families joining the school which will see discounts reducing FS1 and FS2 fees to AED 42,900 and Year 1 to Year 7 fees to AED 49,100 (from AED 56,500).

Dubai British School Mira, which aims to be the hub school for the Mira community, will initially open from FS 1 to Year 7 for students aged between three and 11 in Early Years Foundation Stage 1 to Year 7.
