It’s been a long time coming, but Deira International School Dubai has now revealed to SchoolsCompared.com its results for the class of 2022. A much-loved school in Dubai, DIS is a pioneer in the IB – and particularly of the Career-related Programme. The school was insistent that it would not release its results to us before every single one of its students and families was informed and celebrated – telling of the commitment of a school that is known for putting its students and parents centre stage.

This year group has endured such challenges over the last three years and therefore it is particularly special that they are able to leave Deira International School equipped with qualifications which reflect their hard work and will set the foundations for their continued success in the top universities around the world.

Deira International School has maintained face to face learning throughout the last two years – and we see the results of that today.

“We are excited to share our student success for the May 2022 IB results.

Historically our school average has been significantly above the world and UAE average. This year sees our results increase significantly from 2019, the average improving to 35.4 points in comparison to 34 points in 2019.

22% of Deira International School students achieved 40+ points with 2 students achieving 44 points.

We are proud that we offer a holistic educational program that stretches and extends our students beyond the classroom, whilst also being an inclusive school.

This year we maintained our 100% pass rate of all IBDP students’’.

Chantelle Thomasson, IBCP Coordinator, Deira International School, focused on the International Baccalaureate Career-related programme results – a qualification we have campaigned for at SchoolsCompared and which we believe is the shining star of IB programmes in the UAE.

“The IBCP program at DIS is the longest established IB careers-related programme in the UAE. We are proud to offer a truly vocational educational pathway to our students through our weekly internships across the Al Futtaim business divisions.

This year sees our results increases from 2019.

The pass rate has improved to 100% in comparison to 80% in 2019.

The highest points total has increased to 15 from 11 in 2019.
