#EndOnAHighDubai signals end of the painful Covid Years as KHDA Chief Dr Abdulla Al Karam calls for hope and ambition for the future – and Summer holidays begin.
H.E. Dr Abdulla Al Karam, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), has issued a personal message to parents, school faculty, parents and children in the approach to this year’s Summer holidays. Under the hashtag #EndOnAHighDubai, Dr Karam movingly praises the whole school community for its working together so inspirationally during the last year:
“Our community has been through a lot this academic year. We all met with challenges that we could not anticipate. It was only a few months ago that we were looking at the possibility of going back to Distance Learning. We have all had to adapt. When there was uncertainty, we all knew what we had to do – and we all did it together.
And for this we are truly grateful to everyone. I would like to thank each of you.
Every Principal…
Every Teacher…
Every Student…
and every Parent…
for everything that you have done for each other.”
Dr Karam goes on to call on the educational community to reflect and share messages of their many achievements this year and hope for the next under the new hashtag as we all embark on our Summer holidays:
“As we head towards the Summer break, now is the time to reflect.
What are you grateful for this academic year?
Who are you thankful to?
What are you looking forward to after the Summer break?
[…]
This academic year #LetsEndOnAHighDubai.”
The new campaign signals a positive and hopeful end to the gruelling most recent Covid years, captured under the previous KHDA message of #InThis TogetherDubai which we reported on in March 2020 here.
