Background – Dubai British School Mira

Dubai British School Mira is a 1600-capacity British curriculum school opening on a 0.65 acre site in Mira Oasis 2 in August 2025. DBS Mira is expected to initially open to Year 7, delivering an EYFS-founded English National Curriculum education for students between 3 years and 11 years of age, that will grow to all-through Secondary provision of GCSE and British Sixth Form gold standard A Levels and BTEC. DBS schools have a strong reputation in the Performing Arts and we would expect this to be sustained.

Located in Emaar’s Mira community, the school will be the fifth DBS school in operation once completed, after the flagship KHDA Outstanding Dubai British School Emirates Hills, Performing Arts powerhouse Dubai British School Jumeirah Park, Dubai British School Jumeirah Park Foundation and the new Dubai British School Jumeira to open in August 2024.

Dubai British School is Taaleem’s flagship UK premium schools’ brand. Fees on full all-through opening are set to be premium running within the AED 50,000 to AED 80,000 bracket for British Sixth Form before any applicable discounts.
