Background – Harrow, School of Churchill, comes to the UAE

Taaleem, best known for its UK curriculum Dubai British Schools, including its newest DBS Jumeira opening in September 2024, has today announced that it has signed a partnership to open Harrow schools in the UAE – as well as in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait.

The first Harrow school in the UAE will open in the UAE, subject to the final agreement of regulators.

Harrow School Dubai - will this be the first opening of the famous British school in the UAE and GCC. Will Harrow School Saudi Arabia be next?

The school will be the first ultra-premium British school opened by Taaleem – and, as one of the world’s most famous schools, parents can expect fees to match. Harrow, established in 1572 under a Royal Charter granted by Queen Elizabeth, educated Churchill, Byron, Jawaharlal Nehru, King Hussein of Jordan, the former rulers of Iraq and Zanzibar, Lord Rayleigh, seven UK Prime Ministers and the who’s who of some of the most famous names in Science, Technology and the Arts.
