Victory Heights is a school that we have inspected on numerous occasions and watched it flourish. Of the many areas the school stands out, it is, firstly, in the ways Victory Heights has created bridges with parents and engaged them in the life of the school and, secondly, its care for all children, including those with SEN (which is a real strength of the school), that shine.
Feedback from parents has been amongst the best we have received from any school this year, and the progress of children at the school having been “remarkable.”
The importance of EAL and SEN at this young age in an inclusive school cannot be underestimated – and the school embraces this.
Externally, the architectural design of the school is designed to capture the sense of sand moving through the desert, glass paneled colour phase windows the lights of the Middle East sun from Dawn to Dusk, and turrets and lines nodding to the school’s home in Dubai. The investment in design is often, as it is here, so telling of the ambition of owners to create something special.
However it’s the basics – care for children, outstanding teaching, the ambition for every child to meet their potential, the conviction that every child counts and has a right to expect the very best education that are delivered in spades by Victory Heights. This is a school that delivers for parents and children.
