Victory Heights Primary School has revealed the first photograph of its new Library – with a twist; it’s created to look like a bus, capturing the idea that books transport us to world’s of the imagination beyond the pages of a book or the traditional walls of school building. What is inside, however, and whether it flies, remain closely guarded secrets!

The initiative, to further inspire an adoration of reading amongst little ones in the face of the many competing demands of XBoxes and the endless rush of life that captures the attention of younger children, is one of the many happenings at Victory Heights Primary School as a it celebrates its tenth anniversary following its founding in September 2012.

Victory Heights Primary School, located in Dubai, at the heart of Sports City Community, welcomes children from across the UAE, with its closest catchments the communities centred in and around Victory Heights, Dubai Sports City and Jumeirah Golf Estates. It is two minutes from Hessa Street and E311 and easily accessible to the broader Dubai community.

Victory Heights Primary School is rated “Outstanding” by British Schools Overseas (BSO), was awarded the Top Schools Award for Best Primary School in the UAE 2021 – 22, and school Principal Sasha Crabb is the recipient of the prestigious Top Schools Award for Best Principal in the UAE.

Other initiatives of the much-loved primary school include the opening of an extraordinary new purpose built Foundation Stage occupying its own dedicated grounds and buildings. The Foundation Stage was developed to further strengthen investment in the very different needs of younger children and builds on the deep commitment of the school to Primary and Early Years provision and protecting the different needs of childhood of children at different ages. The focus of the school is very much to remain a small, manageable school for children, where every child is known individually, but one with a big heart.

The 2022 celebrations sees the annual Victory Heights “Back to School” celebrated with the launch of SPARK (Science, Play, Art, Real Life, Kindness) for Year 1 children. The innovative and inspirational new programme links up major STEM themes with activities that bring them to life through Art and the engagement of children with each other.
