Tahsin Jawwad, The Winchester School’s topper at IGCSE and AS Level. Mr Jawwad secured the highest results of any student this year and has been offered the chance to study for a Bachelors of Computer Science at The University of British Columbia – in conjunction with a circa AED300,000 scholarship from the University. Mr Jawwad studied A Levels in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science and achieved 4A* Grades.

Shiva Tejas, another star topper in IGCSE and AS level has long dreamed of studying Medicine. Mr Tejas has received offers to study Medicine from both the University of Birmingham and University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom – and the University of Nottingham has offered a significant scholarship.

Katie Ingrid Ramanayaka is the Valedictorian of the Class of 2022. She completed her entire schooling at WIN – a full 15 years – and has been consistently high performing and among her year’s toppers. She has also been engaged in all spheres of school life and has contributed immensely in various leadership roles, including as lead singer in the school choir.

“Taha Naveed has consistently improved in performance despite a medical condition that prevented him from attending regular classes for a long period in Year 12. Taha joined WIN in 2017 and has risen to the challenges he has faced demonstrated outstanding improvement in Computer Science, having now received an offer to major in Computer Science at Rochester Institute of Technology with a scholarship.”
