Which is the best school in Dubai? Find out for yourself at the Festival of Schools on November 19

by Tabitha BardaNovember 10, 2022

Are you wanting to find the best school in Dubai for your child? Experts from Dubai’s top schools will be on hand to answer all your questions about UAE education, school fees, how to tell a happy school and much more at the Festival of Schools in Damac Hills park on Saturday 19 November 2022 (but hurry, tickets are going fast!).

Whether you’re wondering how to choose between curricula, are considering a new school or school move, or are looking at Early Years and nursery options, there will be panel discussions covering all these topics, as well as free informative talks, and experts from schools, nurseries and the Which Media team all available to advise you.

BUT this is going to be nothing like your regular, dry and corporate education event! While there will be lots of expertise available to help you find the best school in Dubai, at its heart the Festival of Schools is just that: a festival. This means it will be a fun, relaxed and exciting day out for the whole family! After all, the best schools are always going to be the ones that care about your whole child: their happiness, wellbeing and inclusion in the community, as well as academic achievement.

So, on top of offering advice, schools will be putting on some amazing entertainment – from Brighton Beach-themed fun from Brighton College, to creative, interactive activities from Bloom World Academy, plus spectacular dance and music performances from a variety of schools and nurseries, STEM challenges, immersive storytelling, arts and crafts and much, much more.

PLUS, there will be plenty of pure, unadulterated fun for kids (and kids at heart) to enjoy, including: an inflatables zone, giant games area, soft play section for little ones, face painting, bouncy castles, live music, cotton candy, popcorn, ice cream van (with vouchers for FREE ice cream if you visit the Bloom World Academy tent) and SO much more!

And that’s not all. Extra-curricular providers will also be on hand to give FREE taster sessions of their brilliant activities. Here is a run-down of some of the highlights:

Clown around

Children will be able to join the circus for an hour while learning amazing acrobatics and clown techniques from Dubai Circus School.

Hit the decks

Kids aged seven and above can try their hands on the DJ decks and learn how to mix their favourite tunes with Original Mix DJs.

Be a sports champion

If your child loves sport they can take part in rugby, basketball or football skills sessions, competitions and challenges with Dubai Warriors Rugby, MPAC Sports basketball and Go Pro Football.

Find your twinkle toes

Children can exercise their acting chops, dancing feet and public speaking voices as they learn the secrets of all the best performers with Dubai Performing Arts.

WIN BIG with the Festival Passport

Children are encouraged to fill in their Festival of Schools passport at every activity station in return for the chance to win big prizes

There will be plenty of prizes up for grabs for every child who fills up their Festival Passports with stamps from each of the activity stations. Collect your passport from the Which Media stand – and say hello to the SchoolsCompared and Which School Advisor team at the same time – then make sure you go to every activity offered by the schools, collect your stamp, and then hand your passport back in to the Which Media stand. You’ll then be in with a chance to win one of 20 amazing and unique prizes that will be awarded throughout the day!

So what are you waiting for? Bring the babies, kids and grandparents along for a fantastic day filled with food, music and creativity. We can’t wait to see you there!
