GEMS New Millennium School

Fabulous school with arguably the best integrated ECA programme of any school in the UAE. Outstanding whole child development and a British EYFS KG phase are two of the features that make this school shine. This could very well be the next KHDA Outstanding CBSE school in the UAE.

KHDA 2020 Rating: Very Good
The Indian High school

Our View:

“When the Indian High School (Senior Campus) gets it right, it blazes a trail for Indian education in the UAE. It is this at times extraordinary ability to deliver for its children, notwithstanding the school’s significant imperfections, that Inspectors ultimately prioritise in awarding the school, in our view deservedly, its “Outstanding” commendation.”

KHDA 2020 Rating: Very Good

Delhi Private School

Our View: “DPSD is not a ‘bells and whistles’ school. Do not expect shiny steel and glass or anywhere near Tier 1 facilities. DPSD is, in stark contrast to what you might expect of a school operating at this level, resolutely a cosmetically very basic school. In fact, in almost every way this is a school at a surface level that seems unimpressive. However, nothing should be taken away from the achievement of Delhi Private School – Dubai. This is a school that has been a consistently KHDA “Good” school for some 6 years before now stabilising its “Very Good” school rating for its fifth year. The value proposition is high and children are educated to a very high standard.”

KHDA 2020 Rating: Very Good

GEMS Our Own English High School

Our View: “The school operates in the top-5 of Indian schools in Dubai and is one of only three KHDA “Very Good” schools operating in the CBSE schools sector. What will, however, be a stumbling block for some parents, is scale. With more than 10,000 children this is a school that is the size of small village. This said, GEMS Our Own is a very good, in many ways outstanding school. We think the school is one, within its class, that deserves our recommendation – and unambiguously. Children, teaching faculty and leadership should be very proud of what they have achieved.”

KHDA 2020 Rating: Very Good

The Millennium School

Our View: “Don’t expect ‘bells and whistle’, but, this notwithstanding, the foundations are all in place for a very good level of educational provision. The Millennium School is a very high performing school that scores at the highest “Outstanding” level of KHDA assessment in 63% of its scoring areas covering the school as a whole and 50% of its core child-focused academic and whole child learning area categories. In all these areas, it is achieving in the same class as the best schools in the emirates. The only weak “Acceptable” areas identified by the KHDA lie in Arabic language provision, a very difficult subject area for all Non-Arabic schools (and many Arabic schools too).

Independent feedback to our sister site, WhichSchoolAdvisor.com has been uniformly positive – and outstanding for teaching staff. That the Millennium School is achieving all that it does within a value fee structure – and in a school that is wholly inclusive, and celebratory of children of all abilities, and disabilities, is a real achievement.”

KHDA 2020 Rating: Very Good

The School of Research Science is, in my opinion, nothing like as good a school as you suggest. Its student population lacks manners and obedience. I would not recommend this school despite its outward appearance. It looks extravagant on the outside due all the money they spend on it; however that actual educational system and atmosphere is poor.
