On first glance, for parents seeking a top flight, pure all-through Outstanding US Tier education in Dubai there would seem to be little choice. Certainly, there are no KHDA Outstanding, or Very Good, accredited schools that fit the brief.
However, look beyond the ratings and we feel that there is one pure all-through US school that does stand-out, and justifiably, for US parents, despite its lower KHDA Good rating.

Our View: “The American School of Dubai [ASD], previously known as the Jumeirah American School, is an independent not for profit community school located on a 1 million square foot facility within Al Barsha. The school remains the only US not-for-profit and was the first American curriculum school in the Emirate. The school pays the price of a distinctly average “Good” rating from the KHDA inspectorate for the weakness of its Arabic provision and the sense of a school functioning as an American enclave in Dubai divides parents on both sides, drawing acclaim and frustration in equal measure. It is important, however, that prospective parents do not focus exclusively, on the headline KHDA headline scoring; ASD is without doubt one of the highest performing American schools in the Emirates.”
KHDA 2019 Rating: Good
The School of Research Science is, in my opinion, nothing like as good a school as you suggest. Its student population lacks manners and obedience. I would not recommend this school despite its outward appearance. It looks extravagant on the outside due all the money they spend on it; however that actual educational system and atmosphere is poor.
