The Entries: The Back to School Photo Competition

For some it’s the day they’ve been anticipating for all summer, friend reunions, funny moments in class and exciting school trips that end way too soon. Others would much rather stay close to mum and dad’s warmth for a little while longer.

Parents eager to meet they’re child new teacher, scared to give them over but trust that they’ve done everything they possibly can to ensure that they’re child is happy in their second home.

I’ve heard teachers talking about the first day of school as if it was the most important day of their lives, it’s when they finally get to meet the names they’ve had on a sheet in person, it’s when you actually see passion in teacher’s eyes, and you get a glimpse of why they’ve chosen teaching as their carrier, they’ve got so much to give and at the start of the year nothing seems impossible.
