It’s big! It’s outside! It’s beyond… fun! It’s a…. Festival! The “Festival of Schools” returns live for Winter ’22 this November – with a twist! UPDATED – Book here now to secure your tickets!

It’s been the talking point of families across the UAE since it first launched last year and it has now been confirmed… Festival of Schools is back! With the fabulous Winter weather coming to Dubai this November, the second Festival of Schools has been announced as “GO!”, taking place on a one day extravaganza on 19th November 2022.

The sold out events last year were held across Dubai’s top schools, but the demand was so big that many families were left disappointed that they could not get tickets. So… this year the event has gone BIG in being held in the beautiful Damac Hills Park right in the Heart of New Dubai so that as many families as possible can enjoy the thrills and spills of the best free family day out in Dubai of the year. Now is the time to get the date in your diary!

Full details of the event are still being teased by the organisers, but we know as last year the packed programme will feature a wealth of family activities to entertain children (and parents!) from live entertainment and performances and craft workshops, to sports, games and a cornucopia of fun showcasing the absolute best of our outstanding schools in Dubai – and what they achieve in bringing the world to life for children with extraordinary sparkle and boundless inspiration.

James Mullan, co-founder of WhichSchoolAdvisor.com and SchoolsCompared.com, told us:

“The reaction from both schools and parents to our Festival last year was no less than fabulous and we wanted to do something even bigger and better this year. Watch this space!”

Featuring top schools across Dubai, the Festival of schools gives parents the rare opportunity to experience the wonders of education in a Festival setting – and the chance to see the very different ways that schools across Dubai bring their own special and unique twist to educating and inspiring children.

For the first time, The Festival of Schools will feature themed zones including the Performance Zone, Activity Zone and an Inspiration Zone – where parents and students can experience a variety of activities and sports led by schools. There is also a special Early Years activity area and a dedicated Soft Play Zone for little ones so that they do not miss out! On the day parents can meet schools and learn of what makes each perfect for their students.

We will be there too! The editors of WhichSchoolAdvisor.com and SchoolsCompared.com will be holding panel discussions on the most important questions relating to all things education, welcoming some of the top educators in the region to answer the A to Z of what really counts in bringing all the wonder of education to life for children. For parents with burning issues in schools and education this is the place to be.

The organisers too promise to bring back memories, and make lots too, with some of the most fun circus games making an appearance including Tin Can Alley, Elephant Toss and Feed the Clown; a magician who will amaze, fabulous bubble show, face painting, board game including GIANT snakes & ladders, Jenga and even Connect 4.

And when exhaustion sets in (!) there is an absolute treat of food and beverage concessions onsite and seating where attendees can take a break from the hectic atmosphere.

“It will,” says James Mullan… “be a great day out for families”.

David Westley, co-founder of WhichSchoolAdvisor.com and SchoolsCompared.com, exclaimed:

“It will be up to the schools to decide which aspects of their own school they would like to highlight – whether that be sport or music, the strength of their academic proposition or their range of extra curricular activities… Every school has something very special and unique to showcase….

But it’s by bringing together these great schools, with their extraordinary passion and diversity, that the Festival of Schools offers its wonderful mix of interaction, engagement and discussion for everyone on a day out that is, absolutely, not to be missed.”
