Designed completely around the needs of us all as parents, “The Which School Show 2020” will run between 10:00am and 4:00pm and is supported by SchoolsCompared.com and our sister site WhichSchoolAdvisor.com, the well-known education portals focused 100% on parents and advising them on the best schools for their children.

The UAE is home to 18 different school curricula and it’s expected that leading British, American, International Baccalaureate and Indian curricular will attend this inaugural event to ensure that parents attending the show have access to the broadest range of schools.

The show is 100% free of cost to every parent.

All parents attending the show will have the opportunity to speak and engage with schools online, in real time, via chat rooms, pre-booked meetings and video calls organised at each school’s individual booth. We will be publishing more information on how to visit the show in the coming days.

The “Which School Show” will be available to view by parents over a two week period after the live event closes enabling parents to catch up with developments, news and information from schools to help them make decisions on the education of their children.

During the day, panel discussions will be streamed live to parents and will explore a range of topics including:

  • “How to Choose a School”
  • “Which Curriculum is Best?”
  • “Making Moving Schools Easy”
  • “Good Value Schools on a Budget”
  • “Surviving the Challenges faced by Parents through Covid-19.”

More than 70,000 families are expected to engage with the show worldwide.

James Mullan, Co-Founder of Which Media, said:

“With the restrictions in place as a result of Covid-19, the option of attending physical shows, with which we have been involved for several years, is not available.  This is traditionally a busy time for both of our sites with many families actively seeking out our reviews as they consider or re-evaluate their options for the next term as well as the new school year beginning in September 2021.

We recognised the need to provide parents with the opportunity to meet up with schools and nurseries, face to face, in a single venue to decide which is the best fit for their child.

We are using the best technology currently available anywhere in the world for this event. Parents will be able to speak with schools from across the UAE live and see what schools have to offer – all in one place and at a time that suits them.

Parents looking to change schools, and parents from overseas coming to work in the UAE for the first time, are expected to visit the show.”

David Westley, Co-founder of Which Media, continued:

“This is going to be the only opportunity in 2020 for parents to meet, all under one roof, a wide spectrum of top schools in the UAE.

Uniquely, our focus is 100% on helping parents find the right school for their children and answering the questions they need answered.

This has been a very tough year for parents, schools and the Education sector and we are committed to supporting the UAE government, schools and parents across the UAE in ensuring that no family is disadvantaged and that life continues safely and as normally as possible.

The need for a Schools Show in the UAE has never been more urgent as parents seek to move schools in response to changing circumstances brought about by this terrible pandemic.”

SchoolsCompared.com was the world’s first comparative school web site, enabling parents to directly compare schools to find those offering the perfect fit for their children. The site is focused on independent, in-depth school reviews for parents across the UAE and has been responsible for exclusively breaking more than a dozen stories in education in 2020 alone. The SchoolsCompared.com Top School Awards engages with more than 50,000 readers and 600 schools regionally each year, culminating in a glittering awards ceremony attended by the who’s who in UAE education to recognise the ‘best of the best’ in the Emirates’ schools.

WhichSchoolAdvisor.com is the UAE’s dedicated guide to education in the UAE. Launched in 2013, WSA is the trusted source of information relied on every year by parents to help them make the correct decisions for their child’s education. Our sister site attracts thousands of parents each month who need accurate, independent, honest and meaningful information on schools, as well as the broader news and analysis of developments in Education to make education in the UAE “make sense” for them. More from our (fabulous) sister site can be found here.
