Overall Best School in the United Arab Emirates 2019 – The Shortlist 2019

Best School in the UAE Abu Dhabi Sharjah Dubai Al Ain Awards 2019

Schools nominated in this category have all achieved short-listing for what will be the final Award of the night on March 7th: The overall Best School in the UAE Award 2018.

This Award is based on demanding and different criteria to our other Awards, pulling together a spectrum of the features that we think benchmark the very best schooling in the UAE.

This award captures for us the school that, above any other, has made the difference for its children – and established a school for children that benchmarks what outstanding education looks like at its very best.

In short, the winner of the Best School in the UAE will have achieved the extraordinary.

All the schools shortlisted, in different ways, provide outstanding breadth of academic, technical and ECA options for students to ensure that every child can meet his or her individual ambitions, potential, and ability.

Each of them endeavours to provide added value to each child’s journey to ensure that every student leaves school meeting or exceeding baseline academic and whole child expectations.

When we have looked at schools, we have weighted those that plough back investment into facilities, teacher salaries, resources and school improvements year-on-year to improve education for children.

All of the schools shortlisted endeavour to deliver a benchmark for the best education for children available in the UAE.

Finally, we have looked across all areas of provision, investment, innovation and achievement that support each school being shortlisted.

The finalists and winner of the Best School in the UAE will be announced on 7 March 2019 at a glittering awards ceremony kindly hosted in association with Dubai Parks and Resorts, on a night that will bring together schools, their teachers and leadership, to celebrate and recognise all that they achieve for our children each year.

The shortlist for this award is under review and will be published later.
