Kent College Dubai announces a triumphant set of A Level results for 2022, with 13% of all students securing a grading of A*. An impressive 62% of all results were graded A*-B, the second highest figure in the school’s history. The result? Sheer joy:

Timothy Hollis, Head of Senior School at Kent College told SchoolsCompared:

“These results are testament to the hard work and determination of our Year 13 pupils and teachers, all of whom have worked with professionalism and diligence throughout these difficult times.”

Tim Hollis, Head of Secondary at Kent College

“Our pupils have demonstrated, against the odds, that they can overcome uncertainty, maintain their focus and diligence, continue to enjoy their learning and cope with pressure that they have not yet faced in their early lives.”

“This is the first formal examination session that these pupils have completed as their GCSEs were affected following the onset of Covid-19 in the Summer of 2020.”

One of Kent College’s two resident Wellness Dogs, Marshall, came out to celebrate with sixth formers receiving their results today

Mr Hollis continued by emphasising the ethics underpinning the school and its investment in the whole child development of students:

“I am not only impressed by the grades that they have received, but by the manner in which they achieved them; all pupils have shown incredible support to one another and unmatched levels of independent learning and communication throughout the two-year programme.”

Their efforts have been deservedly recognised in the grades that they have achieved.

Mr Hollis was keen to praise his teachers:

“Our wonderful teachers deserve great credit and gratitude for the huge passion-to-learn that they have instilled, leading by example to develop the very best qualities in our pupils. Through their hard work I am confident that our young graduates will make a positive contribution to the environments to which they embark”

Kent College Dubai Principal Anthony Cashin speaks with SchoolsCompared about the stallar achivement of this year's A Level student whose results were published today

Anthony Cashin, Principal of Kent College, continued:

“Covid-19 has certainly changed the face of education in our world today, but it is important to recognise the importance of strong positive and caring relationships. These are still best cultivated through face-to-face learning, and our teachers have invested great effort and time to provide this special group of young people with the support that they have needed to overcome the challenges that they have faced.”
